I have to say, Glasgow and I are wonderfully surprised by the fit, style and overall look of the pair of Not Your Daughter’s Jeans we tried. We were advised to order a size smaller than what we usually wear which I tell you is wonderful for the ego; seeing that smaller size on the tag is always a plus and surprise, surprise they fit our hips and, most importantly, our waists PERFECTLY. The waist, a little higher than what we normally wear (it reached our belly buttons) didn’t gap or require alteration. The only room in the waist is the space for that burger and fries combo I crave periodically. We each tried different styles and washes, I tried Premium Overdye style #700R23 in straight leg which comes in Black.
Here’s my take:
The denim used in these jeans is heavier than the denim in my other jeans but very comfortable, super soft and slimming, particularly in the hip area. The jeans length was long enough to cover my 3 inch heels without having to order tall or long. The appliqué on the pockets were subtle but very alluring. I must admit, by its name alone, I was a little skeptical as to whether these jeans would be youthful and stylish enough for me. To my surprise, they exceeded my expectations. So, don’t let the name fool you…these jeans are great for women of all ages with curves.
