Accessories Council Bridal Press Preview

There is no doubt that being a bride and planning a wedding is a stressful time, but there are companies that offer both amazing and wonderfully special products and services that are sure to make your wedding day a beautiful and memorable one. When it comes to all things accessories, you should look no further than the Accessories Council so when they, along with Brides Magazine EIC, Millie Martini Bratten, came together to showcase their favorite bridal accessories and other bridal essentials, bride or not, attendance was necessary.

Held at the beautiful 91 Horatio Event Space which was beautifully designed by The Upper Crust Weddings, a group of wedding experts that provide the ultimate, all-inclusive wedding planning experience including catering, floral design, Mixologist (cocktails) like John McCarthy, lighting, entertainment and photography, we, along with fellow media, got the inside look on that latest hot trends in wedding accessories, decor, beauty, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Some of the stunning jewelry we saw included stunning timepieces from Bulova and Sprout Watches, ornate pieces from Roman Bride, and diamond hoops and engagement rings from Ritani.

It was interesting to learn that a lot of brides are opting for white gold when it comes to choosing their wedding bands over other metals like platinum.

Bulova highlighted a stainless steel watch with gold finish, 24 diamonds individually hand-set on case and a white mother-of-pearl dial ($475.00); Eco-friendly Sprout showcased their new white corn resin case Watches with pink sparkly Swarovski Crystals ($75.00); Roman Bride highlighted their Pearl & Crystal Headband ($30.00), Crystal Bracelet & Earrings ($28.00 – $60.00), Infinity and Bow Necklaces ($20.00); high-end jewelry brand, Ritani highlighted their Diamond Hoop Earrings ($1,350.00) in 18k White Gold – all which would make perfect accessories on the big day.

Of course looking beautiful on your wedding day is more than just because of your dress. A beautifully made up face is essential to looking your best. That is where Makeup Artist, Joseph Anthony Carrillo ($200.00+) comes in. With his experience bringing out the inner beauty in every face he touches for designer runway shows, campaigns, and editorials for some of the most prestigious print publications, his classic beauty aesthetic is sure to make any bride stunning.

Marchesa will dazzles brides with their stunning Envelope Shoulder Bag ($3,695 at www.net-a-porter.com) which features pearl and leather cut embroidery, crystal quartz lock and nickel hardware while the Lena Erziak Classic Evening Clutch ($3,595 646-484-5892), encrusted in Swarovski crystals and dosed in 24 k-gold plating on hardware make the perfect after wedding bag.
