WHIT Fall 2014 Collection Presentation

We first discovered WHIT when we attended her Spring 2013 Collection and fell in love with her playful tropical prints inspired by her then recent honeymoon to St. Lucia, and clean and modern asymmetrical silhouettes. For her Fall 2014 Collection, the designer draws inspiration from Scandinavian culture.

The collection featured earthy tones of browns, whites with touches of bold color and metallics. True to Scandanavian design of aesthetics and function, we saw structured wool and tailored details in the collection, as well as WHIT’s abstract prints, which were ever present throughout the collection. Noted prints featured fun twists such as large ink blots seemingly becoming cow prints, and round slices of wood on a green silk jumpsuit that had us hypnotized. The clean shapes and Whitney Pozgay’s whimsical touch make this collection artful and chic.
