The entire collection oozed easy, classic simplicity and comfort without being too boring. I especially loved the belted dresses – the bold prints, the sweet silhouettes, etc. I loved the unexpected surprise of polka dot underneath the navy drawstring dress. I’m always a fan of the Lands End Canvas accessories and quite a few caught my attention. I also fell madly in love with the crotcheted knit bag featured in the first photo collage above. Other cool accessories included colorful skinny braided belts, wide brimmed hats, fedoras, small cross-body bags, colorful ties for men (which I’ve always loved to use as belts).
Lands End Canvas featured two forms of entertainment, first was the live artwork on one section of the event space by art students from the School of Visual Arts, who painted non-stop throughout the entire event.
Second was a live performance by Boston-based band, The Wandas, who entertained the crowd beyond the end of the event.
Expect to see some of these looks online and in-stores starting this month.
