The 14th Annual New York Chocolate Show

If friends or family describe you as having a sweet tooth or if you’re a chocolate connoisseur then attending The Chocolate Show is a must. The New York Chocolate Show, presented by Event International, is the largest show completely dedicated to chocolate in the United States. The New York Chocolate Show hosts over 65 fine chocolate companies who showcase a diverse array of fine chocolates and chocolate-inspired products, exhibit culinary demos, featured kid-friendly activities and book signings with renowned pastry chefs and chocolatiers. Thousands of people crowded into the Metropolitan Pavilion to experience, sample learn about and purchase chocolate and chocolate-inspired products. Companies like Gnosis, American Heritage, E. Guittard, etc showcased a variety of milk, dark and organic chocolates

While other companies such as Quady Winery showcased an assortment of dessert wines including Essensia and Electra Muscats and Elysium and Red Electra Black Muscats

Spices and Tease, who featured just about every spice and tea possibly available on the planet

For those of you have love possibly wearing chocolate, Sweet Factory, featured jewelry and charms in shapes and designs of delicious treats such as gummy bears, chocolate bars, macarons, ice cream cones, etc

Along with all the decadent varieties of chocolate and chocolate-inspired products, the show also featured some amazing costumes inspired by Broadway Shows made from chocolate. The first one, Roxie which is inspired by the musical Chicago features the garment lace overlay and bowler hat made from Valrhona Dark Chocolate

The William Levy Long-designed costume was created by Chocolatier/Pastry Chef, Joelle Mahoney.

Another great chocolate creation was the Chocolate Folly, a costume designed by Tony Award Winning designer, Gregg Barnes was created by Pastry Chef, Steve Evetts.

The costume features chocolate beads, chocolate jewelry, chocolate feathers and a towering chocolate headdress.

General admission tickets for the New York Chocolate Show are $30 in advance ($35 at the door) and one ticket allows two children per adult to attend for free.
