GIVEAWAY: Win a Pair of Columbia Sportswear Majik Wands Gloves & a Peak Ascent Peruvian Hat

If you’re reading this, then you have not only survived Snowpocalypse 2010 but Snopocalypse 2011 as well (seriously 48 States were covered in snow) – Congrats!!! To help you celebrate and to get ready for the possible next blizzard, I am giving away some great items from the amazing Columbia Sportswear. Six (6) people  – (3) three Men and (3) three Women will win a pair of Majik Wands Gloves and a Peak Ascent Peruvian Hat.

The $80.00 award-winning Majik Wands Gloves works wonders against bad weather and frostbite. It Features 100 grams of super-soft Omni-Heat ® thermal insulation and thermal reflective lining that adds bonus heat retention, Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable bladder delivers highest level of waterproof-breathabilty, PU grip means you won’t be fumbling for chapstick or your cell phone, pre-curved fingers and nose wipe on the thumb.

I personally know first hand how amazing this $40.00 Peak Ascent Peruvian Hat is. Trust me when I say you will not need to wear separate hat and earmuffs ever again because this baby is hat and earmuffs in one without the hat hair. Designed specifically for harsh winter environments, the Peak Ascent Peruvian‘s Omni-Heat ® thermal reflective lining keeps you 20-percent warmer than other hats like it – you know the old saying about the percentage of body heat that is lost through your head.

Feeling warm yet? Will you be one of the lucky six (6) people that will be chosen to win these amazingly warm and cozy items from Columbia Sportswear? Get ready because as you’re reading this, a pair of Columbia Sportswear Majik Wands Gloves and Peak Ascent Peruvian Hat could be yours. These gloves and hat would keep me warm in style! I've been wearing separate hat and earmuffs and it seems there's always a crack in-between that the wind finds.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Right now it is -10 degrees outside and that isn't even accounting for wind chill! We have a new dog and it takes him a long time to "do his business" when I take him out which means I am outside in that sub-zero weather for 20 minutes or more at a time! I need Columbia to protect me!

I NEED this so badly. We walk almost 3 hilly miles every single day and let me tell you it gets very cold, plus the wind doesn't help. I really don't have work-out clothes and just wear my winter jacket. It is pathetic! This would keep my hands warm and the hat would be perfect because I get ear aches from the wind! Plus, I might actually look a bit cute instead of so awful!

DOfasco is a hot and dirty place to work so when I'm off I like to hike with my 3 year old Estrela mountain dog along the niagara escarpment, We always go even on the coldest days, and when its below freezing he always wants to play fetch or wrestle so I need a very warm pair of gloves so we can continue our travels and hopefully tell others about the trails we have recently visited, plan on writing a book for hikers / dog lovers for the niagara escarpment region. Although I like to think of myself as kind of a manly guy, I don't tend to do very well in the cold – I have to walk about five blocks to work, and since the temperature has dipped into the teens most mornings recently, I feel like I'm on the verge of frostbite by the time to get there. I also suffer from horrible hat head, so it would be awesome to protect my head and ears and not risk getting a day-long cowlick in the process. Thanks for the chance to enter for this great men's winter gear!

The Sportswear Majik Wand Gloves and Hat will prevent the heat
from escaping my hands, as for the hat the heat from my head won't leave my body. Now that is healthy living!

My husband and I share a car, so that means that one of us always has to walk somewhere. My husband would so love the gloves for his mile walk/run to the gym and I'd love the hat for keeping my ears warm when walking to work! Plus, he's from the Caribbean and still hasn't gotten used to New England weather.

These gloves look so much better.

Living in Eastern Canada, it is imperative that one has proper outerwear. It gets into the minus double digits on many days throughout the winter. Since I do not like the cold, these gloves and hat would come in very useful and would get lots of use. Columbia certainly makes the products that keep me warm in the Winter.

Thanks for offering this giveaway.

On top of that, I work with kids and they do not stop for snow or cold. While they are cozy and warm in so much winter gear they cannot move, I am wiggly my numb little fingers in my pockets wishing for warmer mittens.

We've owned several Columbia coats over the years and they've always kept us warm her in the Snowy Northeast. I'd love to try the gloves, they sound like they are going to keep my hands dry and warm. LKVOYER at aol dot com

omg I have like NO gloves right now and I love in a cold state. Columbia could really help save my poor fingers from freezing off and they would match my Columbia coat.

I live in Illinois, and my hands are protected only by drugstore knit gloves. I am forces into the cold several times every day to walk my dog. These gloves would let me keep my hands toasty warm while I held her leash and take her on longer walks – better for her and for me!

I live in Washington where it rains 360 days a year and the wind chill factor is verrrrry low. I chill easily and would love to own gloves that were flexible and the hat could prevent the earaches I am subject to.

I could definetly use these. My hands are a mess from not wearing gloves – all red and rough! Feel like sandpaper. Yuk!

Thanks for the great giveaway!

The gloves would be fabulous to protect my hands while cleaning my car off, doing my daily walk outside and just having fun with my granddaughter playing in the snow! The hat would be great to keep my head and ears warm doing those same things.

The midwest has a lot of snow and it has below freezing temps a lot. This would keep me warm hen it hits like it has been doing for quite some time now.

Walking the kids to school can get pretty cold. I have the kids all bundled up but I certainly don't have the cold weather gear like this could offer. This would keep me so toasty warm and make for a happy mommy.

It is so cold here. Snow everywhere and it seems like everytime I go outside I have to clean my car off. By the time I'm finished, my hands are in pain no matter what type of gloves I wear. I'd love to try these because they look like they would keep my hands warm.
