Spa Week Media Event

Well everyone, Spa week is over and I hope you took advantage of the wonderful deals. If you did not, well you’ll be happy to hear that several spas across the country are extending Spa Week to Spa Month. Visit http://www.spaweekblog.com/2011/04/18/spa-week-nation-its-still-a-celebration/ to make up for lost treatments. I got some great hair and a wonderful mani and pedi but I think I’ll be heading back for a facial. Of course that was not my only Spa Week enjoyment, I had the esteem pleasure of attending the Spa Week Media Event again, an amazing event where we indulged in wonderful spa pampering, a sinful chocolate fountain, sultry makeovers, great cocktails and introductions to some amazing spas.

The first thing I did upon arrival was sign up to get my unruly eyebrows in control and I’ve always loved the beautiful and fast work of the Spa Chicks on the Go. How amazing are they? This full service mobile spa event marketing company delivers customized spa and beauty experiences for private, corporate and media clients. I got there when the doors of the event opened and several appt spots were already taken – yes, they are that good.

Other great spas included Euphoria Spa, a TriBeCa based spa who offered uber-relaxing and stress-relieving back massages

More massages were given by Supple Spa, a spa designed for shared services is especially great for couples who want to share a romantic spa visit

Several media attendees also got to enjoy hand massages from famed Carol’s Daughter The Back Room

Manicures from Spa Martier, a gorgeous spa with exquisite ambiance – perfect for relaxation

Mini makeovers from Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, a line of mineral makeup started by Pauline Youngblood, a licensed Medical Aesthetician specializing in paramedical treatments

Also onsite at the event was Vdara Hotel and Spa, who gave everyone a chance to win an ultimate Vegas Vacation

ClariSEA, who provided hot salt scrub and massage hand treatments plus you got a chance to create your own body soak at their salt bar

Dole brought back a trend from the late 1990’s – the Oxygen Bar. The Dole Oxygen Bar was infused with the flavors of Dole’s Real Fruit Bites

The event’s main sponsor, Carefree, provided a signature Spa Week Misting Massage at the Carefree Brand Refresh Lounge. They also introduced their newest pantyliner – click http://www.carefreeliners.com/ to get a free sample.
