I currently own three yoga mats, only one of which came with a net bag (rubber bands are around the other two) but because fate can sometimes be evil, the one I’m most comfortable using is one of the two held by rubber bands. I’ve tried fitting my favorite mat in the other’s net bag but that in itself is its own workout. So I’m really excited to see that there is a company that makes it easier to tote around your yoga mat. The above photo showcases some of Plank’s Canvas Bag Series, a selection of multi-purpose bags, with signature yoga mat strap holders. The Canvas series allows for a simple transition from the studio to your yoga infused lifestyle. Each bag employs the highest quality canvas, chrome hardware and leather trim. I especially love the Canvas Series Mat Carriers – very chic, canvas with leather trim and is large enough for a mat, a towel and your bottle of water.
The smaller bags featured below are Plank’s Vedanta Series, a range of small, luxe leather goods, detailed in richly saturated faux ping hair, finished with natural leather trim and eco-friendly nylon webbing.
Of course, they’re really known for the eye-catching Yoga Mats, like the hilarious Pills Luxe Yoga Mat featured below
The Plank Signature Photo Mat Series is a collection of commissioned, art-quality images hand rendered onto 80% eco-friendly, natural rubber, 10% recycled product, and 10% PU surface. Each unique art-on-mat imaging has a traction surface, and is fashioned using low impact dyes. For the Fall 2011 line, Doreen infused her Brit humor into the line to create impactful, stunning, and tongue in cheek designed images that include the pill mat, cobra mat, wooden plank mat and shag mat. Plank’s Art On Yoga Mats concept offers one of the last unchartered print mediums for artists to express their vision to broader audiences.
