The start of this bi-annual event means one thing – the Spa Week Media Event. A wonderful event (which I find myself looking more forward to than my birthday) which gives media a chance to enjoy some great complimentary services, samples, etc. This particular one offered eyebrow shaping, hand massages, delicious cocktails, a signed copy of Emily Giffin’s new book – Where We Belong (which I spoke about in a previous post), delicious food, some great loot and most importantly, some great information on Spa Week. My first stop was to my go-to Spa Chicks on the Go for some needed eyebrow taming
Appts quickly filled up for other vendors like Completely Bare, which also gave us a chance to meet and speak with owner, Cindy Barshop
I got acquainted with Keri Glassman’s Nutritious Life Meals, a healthy portion-controlled meal delivery plan that offers three meals and two snacks every day.
From then on it was on to the bar to enjoy a few shots of Seagram’s Escapes Frozen Drinks – I only got to try the delicious and refreshing Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri but it also comes in Frozen Margarita, Pina Colada, and Sangria.
From then on, I hit delicious food offerings from Incognito Continental Bistro (their Prosciutto & Rucola Pizza was so delicious). It was no surprise they had a continuous crowd enjoying their wonderful food.
From then on, I stood on line to get an advance copy of Emily Giffin’s New book, Where We Belong and to get it signed by the author. Emily Giffin is the author of Something Borrowed (which was turned into a major motion pictiure), Something Blue, Love the one You’re With, etc
Another season, another great event from the folks at Spa Week. The only thing leftt o do now is start booking your appointments for your $50 treatments. Check out more photos below from the Media event below
