Supermodel Jessica White was on hand to help launch a vibrant and sensuous new swimwear collection from designer, Ava Sanjurjo called Rica Swimwear. The second collection of Rica Swimwear will launch at Miami Swim Week this July. The collection featured a custom line of extraordinary, fashion–forward bikini and one piece styles that will be definite standouts on the runway as well as the beach.
Specially created with luxurious fabrics from Spain, and featuring exquisite detailing,, each of Rica Swimwear’s unique swimsuits and cover-ups feature innovative designs that are hand crafted into flattering shapes that make women look and feel their very best.
My favorite looks included the black bikini with the bright colorblock piping (this only comes in a one-piece) and the red one-piece with sheer black inserts – both exude lots of sex appeal
Ava Sanjurjo was born and raised in the Bronx, and her love affair with fashion began early on in life. Drawing from her families’ influences, including her grandmother’s colorful collection of accessories and her sister’s new wave ensembles, Ava was further inspired by the 90s fashion photography and local music scene, and fueled her passion by enrolling in the renowned High School of Fashion Industries. Upon graduation, Ava continued her education at the world famous Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she studied under some of the brightest and most creative minds in fashion.
