I’m not what you’d call a Gap Girl, don’t get me wrong, I have gone into a few locations and I’m always up for deals on basics but it’s never been a weekly shopping trip for me. Plus, how can you not love the commercials. But I must say, the looks for this holiday season is changing all that. The Gap has quickly changed my mind from “that’s kinda cute” to “I want” and “I Need”. Feast your eyes on the following drool worthy pieces.
The Laced Up Boots – Boot #1
these are obviously fabulous. I love the architectual heel, the contrasting heel colors, not to mention lace ups are very hot for boots. I am in love and definitely want both colors. These lovelies retails for $149.00
Boot #2
A slightly taller version with a significant difference – it’s not a lace up but it doesn’t matter anyway. I’ll happily take it as well. This badass rocker chic book is what skinny jeans were made for.
The Zippered Scarf
or maybe it’s best described as a zippered shawl, either way, it’s a great update to the infinity scarf. There’s nothing worse than almost strangling yourself to death via winter scarf all in the name of keeping the freezing cold wind at bay. With this beauty, you can easily keep warm without strangulation marks.
The Sweater Jacket
We all know how comfy sweaters are, and a really comfy sweater feels homey and how they make great layering pieces. Gap takes it up a knotch and made it edgy. Why go for a typical jacket when you can not only be a standout and be warm and cozy in a zippered sweater. For that in between time when the season gets cooler but prior to snow falls, sometimes a coat can be too much, especially if you’re event hopping. These pieces make a perfect alternative.
