Talbots Fall 2010 Preview

Talbots has a new look. A younger look to be exact

Talbots is expanding its appeal with women 35 – 50 by incorporating a fashion forward twist to its classic style. The new design team is using more colors, patterns and cuts to increase its appeal to its ever growing clientele.

 Other changes for the upcoming season include the introduction of cosmetics – a lipstick called Charmed in August;

a re-launch of their denim line in September in various fits, washes and cuts as well as the expansion of the types of cuts of its jackets.

A few favorite pieces of our Editor is this Golf Green Twill Coat, a perfect pop of color over jeans, a sheath or wrap dress;

 this beautiful Beacon Mae Snakeskin-embossed Nubuck Satchel

and this Plaid Kimono Shrug, which looks even more chic when paired with long leather gloves

See the video below for the breakdown of looks for the season and a more detailed look at the accessories

Some of the pieces to look forward to are:

This collar, which comes in real and faux rabbit fur. It is the perfect accent piece for the every changing weather. It will definitely make a statement while you are walking the busy streets of NYC.

This leopard sheath dress ( a must have print for the fall) is fabulous and chic! It can make a woman over 30 look sexy and gorgeous without looking too young. The cut seems to highlight existing as well as create an illusion of curves that can make any woman look incredible.

Talbots has expanded its cuts, fits and washes of its denim line to appeal to woman’s ever changing body needs. The denim comes in women and petite sizes ranging from 0 – 22.
