On a really rainy night, Kim and I ventured to the Upper East Side to the very Sparkly and Chic Samantha Thavasa Boutique for an evening of cocktails and shopping and preview the 2009 Summer Collection. Samantha Thavasa is a Japanese company founded by President and CEO, Kazumasa Terada in 1994. They have created celebrity lines for Nicky Hilton, Victoria Beckham, and Tinsley Mortimer. As of today, Samantha Travasa has added Samantha Travasa New York, Samantha Thavasa Deluxe, Samantha Vega, Violet Hanger (handbags), Samantha Kingz (Mens Collection) and Samantha Tiara (Fine Jewelry)
The event was hosted by BagTrends, who if you remember hosted the Green Arm Candy Party. Upon arrival to the very brightly lit store which seem to be dripped in sparkles and Swarovski-babbled everywhere, we were immediately transported to a bright, white and shiny wonderland with gorgeous bags and a flutter of activity from fellow attendees
There were a few standout pieces that caught my eye (but with fab bags, catching my eye isn’t hard to do)
But my ultimate favorite (and I wasn’t alone as Pamela Pekerman of BagTrends also chose this as her fav) was a Bubblegum Pink Studded Tote
