SoBe Lifewater Summer Fridays – Part Deux (for me)

As I said, it’s part two for me (I missed the first one). Anyway, it’s the best day of the week thanks to SoBe Lifewater.

This time Zia and I got there about half and hour earlier than we did last time. We arrived to a different set up from last week. While last’s week events had the dive in theme, this Friday was all about lounging and photography

We got a chance to beautify ourselves with the complimentary hair and makeup services downstairs (this was in addition to the manis, pedis and manicures upstairs). There was a wait, so we occupied ourselves at the bar (don’t mind that at all) but I took a photo while I waited

After we got our makeovers, we ventured upstairs and stayed up there for most of the beginning of the event and enjoyed ourselves on manis and pedis

checked our email and updated our facebooks and then enjoyed some awesome roasted corn while salivating over the roasted chicken and burgers

After we had our fill, we ventured back downstairs to get our portraits taken (we had a choice between Peter Ross, whose great photo figures include Alan Cummings, John Lithgow and Kenneth Cole and Justin Jay, whose portfolio includes ad campaigns for Ray Ban and Nike and his portfolio is filled with celebs like Sean “Puffy” Combs) musically turned out by the ridiculously masterful DJ Cassidy

and boy did he ever turn this crowd out; he had the crowd dancing non-stop and the crowd, which had grown significantly by then, were enjoying sweet hors d’oeuvres and even sweeter music
