My Life on (and off) the Guest List

Thuy Spring 2010 Fashion Show

Last year was the first time I was introduced to Thuy and immediately fell in love with the romance and soft beauty of the collection. This time around, Thuy brought us an edgier collection; still very feminine but with more of a modern and structured edge

She took the zipper trend and made it very wearable while being distinct. I love how an open zipper is made into a halter or the way she uses it to put a spin on a peekaboo backless dress

I also loved her use of color- pale champagne, sky blue, burn sienna, a gorgeous citron, vibrant purple, etc. I especially loved her use of contrasting colors. Who am I kidding, I loved everything about this collection – what’s not to love. The looks were chic, edgy, sexy, modern and very feminine. If last season’s collection didn’t get the attention of celebrity stylists, then this season’s definitely will.
