Aquasana Counterop Water Filter

It has been proven that New York has the 2nd best tasting tap water (it used to be the best but it was beaten by Stevens Point, Wisconsin last month); but I don’t live in New York (anymore), I live in New Jersey, which didn’t make the top 10, or 20, or 30, or 40 0r 50….seriously not at all an appetizing thought. But that’s why god created some wonderful men and women who have the talent to create water filter systems. One such company is Aquasana, maker of healthy water products

Seeing as buying bottles upon bottles of water is not economical or environmentally friendly, I decided a Water Purification System was definitely the way to go and Aquasana’s Countertop Water Filter (pictured above) was my savior. Aquasana is the top rated home water filter in America, it was voted as Consumer Digest Best Buy for six yeas in a row. The filter was so easy to install, all I needed was a pair of pliers (yes, I am a handy woman) and TADA…done, instant filtered water. You may be looking at the system and wondering how exactly does it work without you having to add all those bells, whistles and other parts. Well its quite simple – the water is filtered through dual cartridges (as shown in the diagram below)

“Aquasana’s exclusive “Selective Filtration” process uses a combination of carbon filtration, ion exchange and sub micron filtration to produce truly healthy, great-tasting water conveniently from your kitchen tap. Filters out chlorine, lead, prescription drugs, pharmaceuticals, VOCs, THMs, MTBE and cysts (chlorine-resistant parasites) and leaves in the natural trace minerals!”

So now I can enjoy better tasting water and save on my bottled water money on more inportant things like accessories and such…lol
