The Limited Holiday 2010 Collection Preview

According to The Limited, the 2010 Holiday season will be a sweet one. With a mixture of live models and mannequins, The Limited an array of easy business casual looks that can be mixed and matched and take any woman from day to night with little effort.

This collection featured sequins, chunky sweaters, textured jackets and ultra feminine top, many paired with knee-length skirts and sleek pants with smooth lines or over the dresses (as shown above). My favorite pieces were from the collection slated to be delivered to stores just in time for the holiday season celebrations.

I especially love the details from this collection, the ruffled shoulder on the little black dresses, the jeweled belt and the lace detail

And speaking of sweet, The Limited brought in Dylan’s Candy Bar to emphasize their theme that “Life is Sweet”. Guests, like me, indulged in favorites like gummi bears, gumballs, sour tape, jelly beans, etc

Now you may remember that The Limited opened up a pop-up shop last year for what should have been for 3-4 days but ended up being open for several months because the response was so great. New Yorkers were obviously so hungry for The Limited, especially with the return of the Forenza Sweater. I got a chance to speak with Linda Heasley, President and Chief Executive of The Limited regarding when we’re getting a Limited store in New York and she though she was vague, I think we will be getting one soon – hooray!!!
