Launch Celebration for Tweezerman & Betsey Johnson

Tweezerman, maker of award winning beauty tools known for their quality, performance, and value who’s products are the “little black dress of beauty tools” has teamed with the sensational and incomparable Betsey Johnson (my favorite designer during college) for their Designer Series Slant® Tweezer

The new Betsey Johnson Designer Series features three quirky designs that clearly showcases Betsey’s fun personality. The three patterns, White with Pink Betsey Rosebuds (as seen all over her boutique), Neon Pink with White Betsey Bones (skulls) and Black with Pink Betsey Babe (Marilyn) all come encased in a white leather case

The Betsey Johnson Slant Tweezer, which will retail for $25.00, will be available on September 1st at Sephora, http://www.sephora.com/, Betsey Johnson Stores and http://www.betseyjohnson.com/. This will be Tweezerman’s second  Limited Edition Designer Series; the Betsey Johnson Series follows the successful 2009 collaboration with designer, Agatha Ruiz De le Prada (hers is the fashion show that was famously crashed by Sasha Baron Cohen’s in character as Bruno).

Of course Betsey Johnson was on hand to celebrate this wondrous occasion but unfortunately I was unable to interview her because she was completely surrounded by all times but I managed to get some shots of her interacting with her guests

Tweezerman was also on hand to help tame some of our unruly eyebrows as we enjoyed the sinfully delicious fun-sized cupcakes from Baked by Melissa (there would be more cupcake photos but there were disappearing quite quickly – a testament to how yummy they are)

Several of New York’s chic set to help Betsey and Tweezerman celebrate this fun collaboration, many of whom were shoppingwere. Here are some more photos from the event
