Another favorite Mercedes Benz Fashion Week show of mine was Carlos Miele. I think I’ve stated numerous times how much I love color; infact I welcome color in the fall/winter season even though most designers choose a more dark and muted palette, I like to be vibrant and that is exactly what Carlos Miele featured for the colder season.
These brilliant colors which consisted of cobalt blue, mustard green, a cool salmon/sherbet, a gorgeous sunset/orangy-red, etc were featured in luxe fabrications such as silk, chiffon, velvet and fu. Of of course, not all the colors were vibrant, Carlos Miele also featured more subdued hues but many had standout color accents.
My favorite looks were of course the wrap skirts and harem-style jumpsuits and loose flowing pants.Love the use of combining these high movement fabrics with the heavier velvet and of course the black velvet really makes everything else stand out.
