My Life on (and off) the Guest List

Alexander Jagger Fall 2011 Preview

I love discovering new lines, they tend to offer a thing or two that I haven’t seen before or just something that breaks the monotony of seeing the same silhouettes over and over again. I was happily introduced to a new denim based lifestyle brand that offers polished premium looks at affordable prices. The line I’m speaking about is Alexander Jagger, made especially for the sexy modern working woman who loves to have fun getting dressed.

There were several looks which won me over. The Denim Cape paired with the Chocolate Ostridge Suede Skinny Jeans in the first photo is at the top of my list, with asterisks and exclamation points. Second is the Python Princess Line Cross Weave Denim Dress and the Mohair Studded Blanket T Sweater. Although I’m dying for warm weather now, these Alexander Jagger pieces are making me crave the fall season, just so I can get my hands on them. Other notable pieces include the Silk Butterfly Tuxedo Blouse, Twill Lambswool Tuxedo Tails Jacket and Excel Denim Spy Trench.

Alexander Jagger is a better department store brand envisioned by Salt Works Jeans, a company consisting of self professed denim addicts who create a jean with no bells and whistles and a strong focus on a great wash and the perfect fit. With retail price points of $50-180, Alexander Jagger Jeans retail for $79.50-$99.50, Knits $49.50-$79.50, Shirts $69.50-$99.50, Jackets $149.50-$199.50, Dresses $99.50-$139.50 and Sweaters $79.50-$99.50

At the preview, we were walked through the line by Gretchen Lolis, Vice President of Sales for Alexander Jagger. She’s completely adorable and is so passionate about the brand that you can’t help but be excited about it. Of course the great looking clothing help in loving the brand as well. Enjoy the walk-thru videos below.
