Inspired by the splendid beauty of the tulip, Tadashi Shoji’s Spring 2012 Collection was graceful, elegant, rich in a variety of vibrant colors………. just like tulips. Daytime looks included Silk Linen dresses, draped tulle, metallic embroidered lace in vibrant shades of fern green, magnolia, rose, pale green, etc with the radiance of color gradation found in the tulip’s unique petals.
Standout pieces like the above featured hand-painted brush strokes captured the true beauty of the tulip’s inimitable identity. Gorgeous evening gowns were featured in bold colors, shades of neutral and ivory, floral prints with exquisite detailing such as lace appliqué and beading. Its beautiful looks like these that make Mr. Shoji a favorite.
