Girlish colors glided down the runway at Jill Stuart for Spring 2012 – though I am a lover of the typical chic black New York uniform, the colors were a nice change but then again Jill Stuart has never been afraid of using color. Creamy pastels were mixed with neutrals in Jill Stuart’s dresses and separates. It’s evident that she was inspired by the spring season itself as cherry blossoms, palm trees (in both small and large sizes) and song birds present throughout the collection.
This is the second season that Jill Stuart has showed a softer more feminine collection, she is right in step with the lady chic trend blossoming this season (which surely will be ever present in the spring). Of course she still showed a few edgier looks but they still featured lots of feminine touches
