Forever 21 is always on trend for what’s hot and new so it was with a bit of excitement that I attended a sneak peak of their Hologram Fashion Show and their first pop-up shop at the Darryl Roth Theater. In the pitch black theater, we were treated to an illusion of multicolored light and some playful fashion. This isn’t the first time Forever 21 has been tech-forward with their fashion shows. Just last year, they had an interactive billboard in Times Square where models were featured picking up passersby watching the show and dropping them in a giant Forever 21 shopping bag
As you can see from the photos above, Forever 21’s Hologram allows the brand to really play with the way viewers are watching their fashion shows. Take a look at a snippet of the intro below
This holographic seven minute show features models walking a cosmic runway and disappearing into starbursts, raindrops, climbing up and down invisible stairs, etc. Enjoy more from the Hologram Fashion Show belo0w:
After the show’s presentation, we were invited downstairs to the first (and hopefully not the last) Forever 21 pop-up shop where wonderful pieces from some of their designer collaborations like Rory Becca were available for purchase
Tried as I may, zi couldn’t help but walk about with two more addictions to my wardrobe
