What I’m Coveting – Native Union ‘POP’ Phone Handset

It was love at first sight for me when I first laid my eyes on the Native Union Pop Phone Handset designed by David Turpin. Mixing retro style with a contemporary edge, the rotary phone-designed Pop Phone Handset is a safe and very stylish way to tackle health concerns from “cell phone radiation which may be linked to various forms of cancer, including tumors of the ear and brain, gliomas, blastomas, and neuromas, in addition to a broad range of other health risks, etc. Native Union handsets are proven to reduce more than 96% of Cell Phone radiations”

The handset, finished with a luxurious soft-touch texture, is manufactured with a high quality speaker and microphone; it can be used with all mobile phones when fitted with the correct adapter (sold separately). When fitted with a USB adapter (also sold separately), it can be used for VOIP computer telephone calls (Skype, Google Talk, etc). A friend of mine works as a manager in a call center so I will definitely be recommending this handset to her. The last time we spoke she told me that her company were in the midst of comparing a number of sip trunk providers in order to find a new business phone system. Her company has gone from strength to strength so they are planning to upgrade most of their networks. These handsets would definitely help to add an individual touch. It must be so exciting to work for a growing telecommunications business. Anyway, the Pop Phone Handset is fitted with a 3.5mm jack that is compatible with iPhones, iPad, iPad2, etc. While attending Pepcom, I can across the dazzling pink sparkler below (you know how I love pink)

This Pink Crystal Pop Phone Handset is on the higher end price range for this style – it retails for $600.00 and also comes in Black Crystal and Silver Crystal – but don’t despair because all the colors shown in the first photo are available for a very wallet-friendly price. All the basic solid colors retail for only $29.99, the Gold – $59.90, Silver – $39.99 and the Desert (camouflage) – $49.99 (sure to be a hit with military personnel and supporters). What makes it an even better purchase, for each Desert POP sold, $5 donation will be made to USO.
