DayLife will run from 12 – 5pm from E. Houston to Delancey Streets, successfully transforming these blocks, which have been closed to weekend traffic since 1972, into an urban backyard on the Lower East Side. This event will highlight all of the wonderful cultural contributions that the Lower East Side brings to the daytime, including vendors such as The Meatball Shop, Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya, ‘inoteca, and By Robert James. The event will include elements such as ping pong, a skateboard ramp, DJ lessons, picnic tables, urban croquet, and David Barton Gym trainers will be present and representing their flagship location on Astor Place with fun giveaways, contests, and raffles. Tons of downtown talent will also be hitting the stage – and the decks – for DayLife with confirmed talent that includes Ryan Cabrera, Silver Medallion, Louis XIV, and many more.
