On a cold night, we got a sneak peek at the hot, leather filled collection by AS by DF. The cocktail reception, held at the Bryant Park Hotel, celebrated the relaunch of the Denise Focil’s label. Heavily influenced by the racing world, the collection features the combination of style and the perfect fit – whether it was the perfect blazers, leather jackets or leather sheath dresses
The collection featured a versatile mix of leather and non-leather fabrications (knits, fur, tweed, mesh, silks, etc) in looks that will appeal to everyone. Chic New Yorkers and A-listers will love the leather strips and mesh dress (which the designer, featured above, is also seen wearing) and the coordinating mock-neck turtleneck, downtown cool fashionistas will love the racing-inspired leather shorts and jacket as well as the tweed and leather jacket
