To commemorate their 30 years of advanced timepiece technology and style, G-Shock presented a collection with updated renditions of their premium styles without losing the classic attributes of their watches – Water and Shock Resistance. The coveted, limited edition and innovative Mudman GW9330B-1, GA113B-1A and GA303B-1A watches all come in black with blue accents, feature metal band keepers and gold IP case backs engraved with the G-Shock’s 30th Anniversary logo created by world-renowned graphic artist, Eric Haze.
The GW9330B-1 retails for $350, the GA303B-1A for $180 and the GA113B-1A for $160. All three are available now at select Macy’s and Bloomingdales stores, fashion boutiques, key jewelry stores, and www.gshock.com.
This year, the iconic 6900 is completely revamped, now 10% larger in size, the new GDX6900 (the G-Shock X Eminem is GDX6900MNM-1) is mega and packed with G-SHOCK’s latest performance technologies and is backed by spokesperson and Basketball Player, Brook Lopez.
Expanding on their revolutionary Master of G collection, G-SHOCK introduced the GW9400 Rangeman, a military inspired timepiece for first response professionals to truly master all natural elements. It is Shock Resistant, Mud Resistant, Water Resistant up to 200 meters, measures altitude, utilizes a Tough Solar Power system, is equipped with a digital compass and sunrise/sunset data, etc. With the GW9400 Rangeman, G-Shock hopes to do for the professional soldier what aviator sunglasses did for pilots.
Available this November in stealth black (GW9400-1) and army green (GW9400-3), the Rangeman men’s watch will retail for $300 at select jewelers, fashion boutiques, the G-SHOCK NYC Soho store and www.gshock.com.
Baby-G elevated its style with its chicest designs to date. Introduced by supermodel Jessica Stam, the fashionable BA110, BA111 and BA112 timepieces are available in nine colorways and boast a layered 3D metallic face.
G-SHOCK also announced their highly anticipated new luxury timepieces – the metal twisted MT-G Collection, a timepiece for the active gentleman that seeks the combination of G-SHOCK’s performance and technology with the prestige of a luxury accessory. The MT-G, Metal Twisted G-SHOCK collection, which features three premium chronograph models, is a completely new set of timepieces crafted at Casio’s advanced factory in Yamagata, Japan for select premium styles making it the epitome of modern wrist couture.
The MTGS1000D-1A in polished stainless steel and resin will retail for $900. The MTGS1000BD-1A, finished in refined black Ion Plated stainless steel and resin will retail for $1000. And in celebration of G-SHOCK’s 30th anniversary, the black Ion Plated MTGS1030BD-1A is a limited edition featuring gold highlights and a unique, red paneled bracelet band retailing for $1100 honoring the brand’s heritage colors of black & red. This collection will be available in November exclusively at Tourneau, Tourneau.com and the G-Shock NYC Soho until after Thanksgiving, then through select premium retailers and www.gshock.com.
Following the press conference, media attendees and guests were treated to passed d’oeuvres and cocktails. Later that evening, guests also enjoyed the DJ’ing skills of DJ Mick Boogie while celebrities such as Vincent Piazza, Melanie Fiona, Paul Pierce, Adrienne Bailon, Stevie Williams, Cynthia Rowley, Rebecca Minkoff, Tom Murro, Andrej Pejic, Christopher Meloni, Natasha Lyonne, Taryn Manning, Doug E. Fresh, Eric LeGrand, Gabe Kling, Louie Vito, Rosie Perez, etc enjoyed the VIP area.
Starting off the evenings performances, rapper Yelawolf performed an hour long set as the opening act and got the crowd moving.
The night continued with a high energy performance by Eminem who got the crowd going performing the following songs – “Criminal”, “Lose Yourself”, “Wont Back Down”, “Cleaning Out My Closet” and “Love The Way You Lie” among others.
