It took some time for guests to loosen up and get on the merry-go-round but thanks to the sunset toast on the castle roof and a few glasses of the wonderful cocktails got the fun really going
La La Land, which he performed to the excited crowd, is Sir Ivan’s first single release following his highly acclaimed 2009 debut album I Am Peaceman, which primarily consisted of remakes of iconic anti-war songs from the 1960’s. True to his “Peaceman” persona, the words to La La Land depict a perfect world where there is actually peace on earth. At the event, he wore a metallic fuchsia suit and black cape with a glittering fuchsia peace symbol on the back which he happily showed off
La La Land comes on the heels of Sir Ivan’s last two single releases, which were back-to-back Top Ten global hits. The song was produced by the L.A. based team of RussellAli and Jason Evigan, who also created the melody, while Josh Skinner and Sir Ivan are credited with writing the lyrics. The new single features mixes by Grammy nominatedMidiMafia (50 Cent, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Nelly, etc.), Grammy nominated Rosabel (Jennifer Lopez, Gloria Estefan, etc.) and the hot new re-mixer duo Papercha$er (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, etc.).
Sir Ivan also announced a very generous donation to the Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay , bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
