Color Your World with Not Your Daughter’s Jeans

The hottest rend this season is color and colored denim is a favorite and a great way to add to a pop of color to your look. For Spring/summer 2012, NJYD (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans) offers an vast array of vibrant bold colors in denim including Sage Brush, Coral Reef, Sunflower (not pictured), Purple Lily, Pomegranate, Persimmon (not pictured), Sunkiss, Clover Green, Blue Bell (not pictured), Aquamarine, Fuchsia, Optic White (not pictured) and Black (not pictured). Take a look at the Alisha Skinny Ankle Jean, a little shorter in length with a 28” inseam, classic five-pocket styling, and plain back pockets, in a few of the bold colors.

These colors are also available in a comfortable and flattering pencil skirt (the Emma Skirt) and curve loving copped jeans – the Fiona Mini Roll Cuffed Crop Jeans and the Carmen Cuffed Crop Jeans. Another great trend in denim are fun prints. NYDJ had their hottest styles in Lizard (Grey Multi), Lizard (Blue Multi), Lace (white) – all three pictured below.

Other fun prints include Primrose (Bone) – pictured below, Primrose (Oxford Blue), Primrose (Pewter), Henna (Buff), Henna (Dove Grey) – pictured below, and Henna (Pale Crystal). These prints are available in the Alisha Skinny Ankle Jean, Sheri Slim Leg Jean and the Emma Skirt

New washes this season for NYDJ include:

Malibu: A faded medium wash w/ all over hand sanding plus stone washed to give a year round vintage look.


Long Beach: A classic medium dark wash with strategic sanding to slim legs for a flattering look.


Redondo: A worn in and relaxed look continues in our light vintage wash.


Zuma: A gray shade of blue for a more vintage look.


Hollywood, Burbank, Dana Point: A dark blue wash with light sanding at front thighs and back seat area; wash is darker from knee down to balance figure and draw attention upwards.


Sherman Oaks: A washed down black with a strategic fading at front thighs and back seat area to visually slim figure.


Silver Rush: Light grey wash continues. The wash has a strategic fading at the front thighs and back seat area to visually slim the figure.


Sea Cliff: A rich brighter blue wash that supports the ongoing 70’s trend.


Balboa: A light blue wash that is a key look with a more vintage 70’s feel.


Hawthorne: A sun-bleached wash perfect for the Summer season.
