I attended the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness 2010 Consumer Product Event and of course saw some amazing products will be covered a bit later. As I have a family member who is a Breast Cancer Survivor, I always try to support any way I can which includes participating in the walk with my good buddy, Miss Benz.
Anyway, in honor of this special Pink Consumer Product Event, we, with the help of Victorinox Swiss Army, who has two amazing products (the Pink Classic SD Swiss Army Knife and the Alliance Sport Watch with the Pink Ribbon Decal) which benefits finding a cure Breast Cancer by donating proceeds of each sale to the Susan G. Komen Organization. We will be giving away TWO (2) Pins to the first 20 people to leave a comment or share your stories. Why two you may ask? One is for you and the other to share with a friend to show your support of finding the cure.

Two of my aunts have had breast cancer, and one lost her fight with this awful disease. Breast cancer has deeply affected my family, I am always happy to show my support for finding a cure.
My Aunts Mary and Kate and cousin Willa all passed away from Breast Cancer in the 1970s and early 80s.
This is a cause very dear to me. I want to see Breast Cancer a thing of the past.

When I was in 6th grade, my band teacher was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was really my first close experience with the disease. She was an amazingly strong woman throughout the ordeal, and would continue to come in throughout the year whenever she could (although we had a long-term sub). She refused to give in to cancer, and would always wear a "Life is Good" hat proudly on her balding head. She was the person who taught me the saying "Carpe Diem", or seize the day. This is a motto I now live by daily!

I lost my Mother to breast cancer 14 years ago. She was 45. Her younger sister is a survivor for 13 years now after a double mastectomy. My sister and I now I am 41 and 37 respectively ensure we get a mammogram every couple of years. So we have a base line to compare. I think it's a beautiful gesture. If I get a pin I will give it to my sister in our mother's memory.

Last month marked my two year breast cancer survivor anniversary! I was diagnosed at the age of 40 (just like my mother), had a bilateral mastectomy, reconstructions, and chemo. I'm so very thrilled to say…I am a SURVIVOR (and sadden that my mother can't say the same)!

My mom had a double mastectomy in October. Thank God for early detection. Breast cancer is in my family, several generations. This is moms third bout with cancer and we are so proud that she is a fighter. She is a great role model and we all believe in being tested regularly. Cancer knows no age or gender.

I just got a mammogram recently and was so scared of the results, especially since a high school friend just lost her battle with breast cancer. thankfully all the results came back negative but it showed the importance of early screening.
I don't really have a personal story, but I'd be more than happy to show my support to find a cure.
Men get breast cancer too; we need to make everyone aware of this and the fact that the pacific northwest is always in the top 4 in the country in incident rates.. Wouldn't it be great to know why.. Research!!
I Lost my breast cancer in 1994… She was very young.. Now I do all I can to support the cause.. We are ALL in this together!!
