Snap the Perfect Selfie: EmoFix vs. Hisy Halo Selfie Camera Remote Shutters

We’ve all heard so much about the Selfie Stick, but there’s one device that we think is even better, the Selfie Camera Remote Shutter. We have the pleasure of trying out two of these selfie wireless remotes, the uniquely shaped EmoFix Shutter, and the Halo Shutter for Android from Hisy, and today we share what we love about each.

There’s lots of love from both devices. Each has their pros and cons but overall, we’d be happy with either selfie remotes because it’s always about the picture for us. Get to know more about each device below:

EmoFix

What we love about the colorful Emofix Selfie Wireless Remote: the 3 x 3 cm square-shaped EmoFix is a compact Bluetooth device that captures photos and videos without having to touch your mobile phones, it doesn’t need an app to be installed, works with all mobile phones, has a photo-taking range of more than 30 feet, is waterproof, boasts a metal body that won’t be damaged even if it’s dropped on hard surface, and naturally, the fashion-lover in us loves the vibrant graphic print and colors. While it doesn’t come with a built-in phone attachment (it’s so thin, it can get lost in your purse), you can accessorize your Emofix with one of their added accessories, including the EmoFix ™ Keychain, EmoFix ™ Wristband, and Phone stick + wall stick as a pack for $20.00 on indiegogo. Emofix retails for $35.00 each, but you can get it for Save $15 or 43% OFF the retail price with their Super Early Bird special on indiegogo, and you get to choose EmoFix design at the end of  the campaign.

Hisy Halo

What we love about the Halo from Hisy is the fact that it pairs with multiple smartphones, and remote clicks for multi-camera shots, all at the same time. It also boasts a built-in headphone jack attachment that allows you to carry your Halo with you at all times (no way this baby gets lost at the bottom of your purse). You do need to download the Shutter Panorama app but you don’t have to worry about your picture quality, and the photos automatically store in your main photo gallery.Halo shoots photos or videos 30-90ft away, boasts a 2+ Year Battery Life, and is available in both black and white for the android, with the Hisy (for iPhone only) available in a variety of colors. Get the Halo for $24.99. Accessorize your Halo with the WING: Selfie Stick w/ Tripod (in Orange), for $29.99.

What are your thoughts on Selfie Camera Remote Shutters? Would you include them into your social photography?
