Just in time for the holiday shopping season, RadioShack has opened a pop-up store right in the middle of Times Square, 1441 Broadway (41st and Broadway), for shopping and gift giving convenience. The pop-up is open for a limited amount of time and offers interactive experiences, high-tech headphone demo stations, the eye-catching speaker wall which allowed customers to try out and buy thirteen various speakers and free charging stations. The RadioShack pop-up highlights the reinvigorated brand and offers a great mix of products perfect for holiday gifts and for visitors who may pass through the “Crossroads of the World.”
Gabriel Saporta, lead singer for synthpop band, Cobra Starship, was on hand to help celebrate at the launch party for the pop-up, held above the store’s location. The musician held court as the event’s DJ and had the crowd moving the entire night.
Several celebrities were on hand to celebrate the pop-up’s launch, including RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas, The Misshapes, Designers Yigal Azrouel and Erin Fetherston, the latter who I had the pleasure of interviewing

The pop-up will remain open through New York’s hosting of “the big game” in February.
