As a little girl, one of my favorite things to wear was ruffles, the Verrier Show brought back sweet memories of those careful days. This season’s looks were colorful and feminine; I might even go as far as to say girly. Influenced by French actress Catherine Deneuve’s role as Geneviève Emery in Les Parapluies de Cherbourg (Umbrellas of Cherbourg -a must see musical by the way, don’t forget the tissues), this collection is fun, playful with girly innocence. So embrace your inner Geneviève Emery, grab your umbrella and have a good cry but of course look très chic while doing it.
Anyway, the show was fantastic and I really loved the clothing. Unfortunately, all electronics in my posession died/went on strike at this point (we need more outlets at the tents), so I was unable to do my own photos and video (sigh). Alas, no finale walk for this show but I’m ready for next season.
