Twinkle by Wenlan Spring 2010 Show

Twinkle by Wenlan won my heart with all her pretty girly looks; her collection looked like a meadow filled with various wild flowers, you know the kind that makes you want to run through it with your head held back and your arms open wide. It is so feminine and flirty and youthful and a bit hippie-chic.

I know I seem to be concentrating on the prints but not every look was a print, Twinkle also showed some modern yet soft solid colored looks, my favorite was a baby blue sheath with playful ruffles

There were more details that I loved, besides ruffles, there were pin tucks, the tuxedo look and contrast piping

Another standout piece was this contrasting black and white jumpsuit – the perfect example of the tuxedo look

According to the run of show, Twinkle by Wenlan was inspired by the spirit of Yoko Ono and the attitude of Blondie. So you have the strength of rock and roll and the flower power of the hippie and love era….there was lots of oohs emanating from my mouth. The entire line was completely wearable and quite special. This is why I love Twinkle by Wenlan. But don’t take my word for it, take a look at the finale below
