Rosetta Stone – Learn a New Language or Find the One You Lost

My mom told me that as a child I spoke mostly French and it seems somewhere along the way (and years) I lost it all.

Then along comes Rosetta Stone (actually they were represented at the Holiday Gift Guide) to save the day and give me back a piece of my childhood

I was sent a headset similar to the one below

with a web address and log on information to reacquaint the adult me with my childhood me. Of course as is required, I took French in high school as my foreign language but the training method and language absorption are completely different – like night and day.

Unlike in high school (no offense to my French teacher), Rosetta Stone offers constant interaction – you’ll hear, pronounce and write the words and match them to images shown to you. You will also sharpen your word pronounciation as you complete sentences out loud after you listen to your language of choice spoken by a local.

I especially loved the fact that each word is repeated twice before and after you repeat it. Even better was the fact that just about everything from all those years ago came back to me. I even did one session with the volume off and I still got the pronounciation correct. I was able to access the program for 3 weeks and I’ve retained quite a lot of information. Rosetta Stone has definitely woken up the sleeping french child in me (all I need is to acquire the full program and I will practically be a native of France)

Try it out now with a Free Online Demo of any of the top 10 languages Rosetta Stone offers
