Belvedere Pink Grapefruit Vodka & Matthew Wiliamson Launch Event

Belvedere introduced a new flavored vodkas last night at a blending session and cocktail pairing event presented by Master Distiller, Claire Smith in the Meatpacking District. While they showcased their four new flavors

Pink Grapefruit, Citrus, Orange and Black Raspberry, which have been maceration through a distinct Belvedere process of soaking fresh fruit in luxury vodka, they concentrated on the newest launch – Belvedere Pink Grapefruit.

To create this special blend of vodka Belvedere starts with the finest select Polish Dankowskie Gold Rye and dilute it with pristine artesian water from Belvedere’s own distillery in Poland. The fresh fruit are added to the individual baths where they gently soak for a period of up to one month. Once the vodka reaches its desired flavor it is redistilled which results in a clear and intensely flavor distillate – that is the Maceration process which is Belvedere’s own way of creating their intensely favored vodkas.

This “Art of Blending” Event is the first in a series of events by Belverdere for their Pink Grapefruit launch. They have collaborated with designer, Matthew Williamson, who has created a Limited Edition Pink Kaftan inspired by the launch of the new pink grapefruit flavor. The vibrant pink grapefruit print kaftan, which will retail for $1,540, will go on sale at Matthew Williamson boutiques in New York and London today (May 13th)

For those lucky enough to attend this invitation only launch events, you will experience a classy, suave, elegant event fitting of Belvedere. Guests will sip on mixed drinks that pair flavored Belvedere with fruit juices, syrup or tonic or Belvedere straight up so one can savor the taste all while enjoying some of the hottest hits played by NY DJs.
