Interview with Chef Todd English

Hello everyone, I’m back with another Chef Todd English post. You may recall I very recently attended the Grand Opening celebration of the new Plaza Food Hall created by Chef Todd English – my account of the event is HERE. You may also remember that I didn’t get a chance to interview him at the event but today I did.

Today was the official Grand Opening to the public and from what I was told, the doors couldn’t open soon enough. Chef Todd English was on hand to oversee everything, great guests and of course do a few interviews. After his interview with Fox News, which also featured some very excited teen girls, he sat down with little ole me at the The Cheese & Charcuterie Counter (one of the eight food stations available – see my last post on the Plaza Food Hall for the list of all 8 stations) to discuss this new venture and a few other things – the interview is below

As you can see, Chef Todd is not only a brilliant chef, he’s always keeping an eye on everything, even while doing this interview (LOL). As far as the customers go, there was a very steady flow of people going in and out, taking a little tour of the Food Hall and indulging in the luxury surroundings that is The Plaza without paying luxury restaurant prices.

The Food Hall is located in The Plaza at 1 West 59th Street, Concourse Level, New York, NY 10019 and is open from 7:00am to 9:00pm Sunday to Thursday, and 7:00am to 10:00pm Friday and Saturday. Bon Apetit!
