American Eagle Fall 2011 Preview

American Eagle charms us for Fall 2011 with its usual casual comfort in an array of prints, bold colors, mixing of textures, layering and a few surprise pieces. The brand continues to make their pieces possible to mix and match which makes American Eagle a go to brand. Featuring more than just their super comfy T-shirts, denim, totally live-in sweatshirts, American Eagle wowed with several must haves.

American Eagle has definitely grown up, I am loving this sleek tapered Navy Blazer with the black piping and this surprising chic belted trench with the faux fur collar – both classic looks that are quite sophisticated and should be staples in your closet.

Back to American Eagle’s well-known comfort, I could live in the cardigan featured below – A perfect layering piece, I mean eat, sleep, whatever….it just looks so inviting, it makes me feel very much at home with a mug of cocoa.

My other star piece is this muted grey motocycle-esque suede vest with a detachable faux-shearling collar. Super soft to the touch, this vest is another must have layering piece to help transition to the colder NYC months.

American Eagle is definitely moving in the right direction, they should expect to see several more consumers walking through their doors and perusing their racks for these great pieces. I already have my list ready. Do you? Enjoy a few more looks below

Are they going to be releasing some varsity jackets? I'm so bummed I missed out on a great one last year.
