Anyway, although I am not a smoker, I had to stop by Green Smoke®, one of GBK’s two presenting sponsors and the leading electronic cigarette manufacturer who are aligned with H.E.R.O (Helping Early Responders Organization) to commemorate the 10th anniversary of September 11th.
Green Smoke® made a $100 donation to H.E.R.O for every celebrity and fashion industry personality who visited the lounge. I also made sure to stop by RevitaLash, the other presenting sponsor, who debuted their newly-formulated RevitaLash ADVANCED Eyelash Conditioner
My next stop was to Saachi Style where I discovered an eclectic collection of gorgeous scarves, bracelets, embroidered shoes, tunics and jackets. My favorites were their stackable bracelets
Right next to Saachi Style was Listerine, a brand I’ve used for years, showing their two new Whitening Rinses – Listerine Vibrant White Pre-Brush Rinse and Listerine Plus Restoring Fluoride Rinse, which as an avid tea drinker is perfect for me.
The next two stops will not surprise you because well, you know me and shoes. First was a favorite brand from my freer years – Luichiny Shoes. I love a high heel and these are so fab, so sexy. Whether you’re into pumps, wedges or boots, Luichiny has the standout shoe for you.
Of course when you’re running around in 4-6 inch heels all day, you’re sure to experience a bit of pain and that is where Sole Discretion comes to the rescue
A compact pair of stylish flats that saves you from lugging around an extra pair of bulky shoes. My fav aspect of Sole Discretion is not only do the flats come in a coordinating bag, that bag opens to a larger size to fit your heels (yes, even 4-6 inch wedges).
Next up was a very relaxing mini facial peel (much like this gentleman below) from SkinMedica, a unique skin care line and formulation to reverse photoaging – and being in the third decade of my life, it is the prime time to begin combating the signs of aging.
GBK also featured a brand I was very familiar with as I’ve been to their location a few times – Stuffed Cupcakes, decadent tasting cupcakes filled cupcakes stuffed with creme, chocolate or fruit. You know these are fantastic if Oprah’s a fan.
There were several more vendors, too many to feature all prominently but they include Hard Candy (a favorite from my teen years), Strivectin, Beyond The Rack, Croton Watches, Harputs Own, Melanie Harris, Hard Candy, Skin Medica, Original & Mineral, Bellezza, Arbonne, O.N.E. Coconut Water, Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps, SnapSac, Rullingnet Corporation provided their “VINCI Tab”, Point Reyes and Caribbean Living.
As always, charity is a major focus with GBK gift lounges. The GBK NY Fashion Week Styling Lounge featured three favorite charities. Fashion Delivers, whose mission is to mobilize the fashion community to reach out and affect the world through their donations of new products from the men’s, women’s and home industries, will donate relief and dignity to survivors of natural disasters and others in need. The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement is a premier source of information and education that connects millions of women of all ages and gives them tangible resources to turn personal choices into lifesaving actions. The AHA is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke and Go Red For Women.
