For Fall 2012, designer Amy Smilovic featured a collection filled with menswear inspired looks. The effortless collection focused on clean, easy, mostly monochromatic, masculine lines and shapes. Noted looks included turtlenecks under jewel necklines, structured coats, cropped menswear-inspired suits and comfy sweaters
Filled with mostly dark tones (with the exception of a cream tones, a mod black-on-white swallow print and a groovy op art retro plaid, etc), like emerald green, shimmering cobalt blue, and rich burgundy it’s no surprise to find out her collection was inspired by The Beatles and that groovy era.
