Presentations are a photographer’s favorite thing to shoot. You can arrive to the site whenever, the displays are intriguing, the models are right there in front of you (making it easier to shoot and cool to see them up close), and the environment is different. As you walk in the bare white room of the bebe Spring 2013 Presentation, you see ten circles in the wall on your left and right. The circles invited me to peer in, and, naturally, I did. Colors jumped out at me and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed.
bebe’s style aesthetic in this presentation really differed from what you would normally see when walking by a store. This collection was definitely more mature with the leather, the solid color blocking, and the structure of the dresses.
On another note, seeing the models interact with each other and with the audience was cool because sometimes you forget that they’re real people!
Bravo, bebe. Can’t wait until next season.
