Cocktails and Couture go together like peaches and cream, so attending the 2013 Bar & Restaurant/Holiday Buying Show during Fashion Week was a no-brainer. Not only did I get to enjoy curated fashion, I was also introduced to curated spirits, wine, etc. The event featured over 400 vendors showcasing both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages including Vodka, Gin, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, Japanese Sake, premium pre-mixed cocktails, etc.
I discovered several new brand and enjoyed a few old favorites as I moved from table to table sampling each. I also enjoyed some drink-making demos, brushing up on the latest cocktail industry trends, a special section of Asian cocktails – Sake, Shuzo, Japanese Rum, and a host of other international brands.
