Robert Verdi Luxe Lab Retreat

Celeb Stylist and TV Personality, Robert Verdi, has again introduced some great brands at his Fashion Week retreat. Some you may already know while others have been around but introducing new products. My first stop was to Muscle Milk, makers of sports-oriented nutritional products that address the needs of athletes and active lifestyle individuals.

Muscle Milk was a sponsor of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week for one season and their drinks became my savior while running from show to show (90% of the time on an empty stomach). At Robert Verdi’s retreat, they highlighted their Muscle Milk® Light Ready-to-Drink (pictured above)- 20 grams of high quality protein to help control hunger and spur lean muscle growth.

Next was on to experience Jewelista.com, a site that offers cutting-edge fashion jewelry and accessories from the world’s most talented designers.

The goal of Jewelista is to bring the talent of emerging and established designers to a market they wouldn’t normally be exposed to. Prepared to be wowed by the innovative rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc the designers of Jewelista.com has to offer.

The next product is one I’m already very acquainted with – Kerstin Florian, an amazing skincare company that develops and manufactures a progressive range of European facial, body and bath products and treatments for the spa industry based on natural resources including thermal mineral water, mud, algae, herbal extracts and essential oils.

At the retreat, the focus was on their wonderful Correcting Eye Rescue (see above). Miracle working all-natural, soothing eye pads that leave the eye area brighter, visibly plumped and more luminous for a well-rested, youthful look. A product that has now become an essential part of my fashion week care kit – no more “you look exhausted” comments for me.

Continuing on the path of not looking exhausted, I discovered the Energy Sheets – a new way to get energy. Sheets™ Brand Energy Strips have NO sugar, NO calories, loads of B Vitamins and each serving of Sheets™ contains caffeine comparable to a cup of the leading premium coffee.

Sheets™ Brand Energy Strips are available in 2 delicious flavors – Cinnamon Rush™ and Berry Blast™ – it is the simplest and convenient way to get energy without too much sugar, too many calories or leaving you feeling bloated.

From gaining energy to eating right. I fell in love with The Fresh Diet at first bite. Do NOT let the word diet in its name fool you – this meals are absolutely delicious. I even told the rep this can’t be diet food. It’s like a gourmet chef cooked your meals in your own kitchen.

Fresh Diet is more than just salad – it’s halibut, steak, chicken, turkey, dessert, etc. Its food you thought you couldn’t eat. Established in November of 2005, The Fresh Diet was conceived by a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef and is based on the 40% carbohydrates, 30% proteins and 30% fats diet concept. Fresh Diet offers clients fresh daily-prepared meals that are never frozen, freeze-dried or vacuum packed. Three freshly prepared delicious meals and two snacks directly to your door each day. Its a must for anyone who’s trying to manage their weight, control diabetes, or if you just want a healthier eating lifestyle without losing the taste of great food, etc.

My next stop was to Incoco, a revolutionary brand of nail polish our sister blog, The Nail Polish Exchange has covered – http://thepolishexchange.blogspot.com/2011/04/incoco-dry-nail-applique-revolutionary.html.

Incoco Nail Polish Strips provide a perfect manicure in minutes with no more drying time, smudges, or streaks. The strips are made of real nail polish, and each strip includes base, color, and top coats. The color and design choices are like nothing other typical nail polish brand offer. Avoid the mess, try Incoco.

From hot nails to hot jeans. Robin’s Jeans feature flattering cuts, exquisite washes, intricate details, interesting stitching, embroidery, and novel allure. They have sex appeal and feel as if you are wearing nothing. Their unique signature, a set of wings, is a reflection of the designer’s playful, warm energy and his childhood dreams of freedom and flight.

Robin’s Jeans has quickly grown a celebrity and fashion insider’s fan base and has been seen on the likes of Alicia Keys, Halle Berry and Selita Ebanks.

Continuing on to more fashion, I was introduced to Sebago Shoes. I’m not one who normally goes for flat but these are so adorable.

This shoe company has a rich history – founded in 1946, their first shoe, the hand-sewn penny loafer, was styled after the popular Indian moccasins and pioneered what would become the company’s patented welt construction. Today, Sebago introduces new, innovative footwear, global collaborations, exclusive and limited edition styles along with their authentic classic footwear. One such great collaboration is with Kimmie Smith of Kitten Lounge

This collection adds a new line of colorful shoes for the classic footwear brand – an aspect many women have fully embraced.

My next stop was to the very fashionable Band-Aids by Cynthia Rowley. These Limited Edition Dress-Up Band-Aids by Cynthia Rowley come in five designs.

Who says fun band aids are just for kids; remain a true fashionista even when protecting a cut or bruise. Each pack contains an assortment of 20 bandages in two sizes and amazingly only retails for $5.00 per box.

My last stop before I had to rush back to the tents was to Hanes Hosiery and their Silk Reflections Ultra Sheer Tights, Blackout Tights and Thigh Highs (the thigh highs are really thigh-friendly).

What’s great about Hanes’s new collections are their prints (love the Argyle, Pinstripe and plaid) colors as well as the introduction of the fabulous Blackout Tights. For more information on the new textures and colors from Hanes, check out the Hanes Facebook Page. I can’t wait to try out these amazing hosiery.
