Sally Hansen Gets Crackin with Crackle Overcoat – The Nail Polish Exchange

It takes a lot to get me truly excited about a product but when the Crackle nail effect first starting popping up, I was hooked. I tried creating the effect on my own to utter failure. I first saw this phenom in nail polish form on a few Asian sites and tried my darndest to get product but they were always sold out. But here I am happy as a clam and it’s all because of Sally Hansen. Not only did they make the Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat readily available to me, they have created eight different shade for me to enjoy. Feast your eyes upon the following (in order of appearance) – Vintage Violet, Snow Blast, Fractured Foil, Fuchsia Shock (which I’m currently wearing), Distressed Denim, Antiqued Gold, Ink Splatter and Cherry Smash.

Upon first site, I was already planning my color combinations. I decided to begin with Complete Salon Manicure in Eel Skin (a creamy medium true grey) as my base – two coats. I love the Complete Salon manicure because its base coat, color and top coat in one and makes for quick application

and then added my drama by topping it off Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in Fuschia Shock

I’ve gotten so many compliments on my nail and have told so many people about it, you’d think I owned stock in Sally Hansen. Unlike OPI, Sally hansen’s Crackle Overcoat is very affordable at $5.95 and premiers with eight shades, so you don’t have to feel guilty about buying several shades. All Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat shades are available now where Sally hansen products are sold but hurry as they’re sure to go fast.
