Project Runway 6 Winner, Irina Shabayeva, who’s been making some major moves recently (she recently created a capsule collection for Macy’s INC International Concepts brand) showcased her 2011 Fall/Winter collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. With major influence from the art of Flamenco, Irina featured laser cut embellishments on jackets, tops and dresses, bold color and Bull-fighter hats (another Barcelona influence) paired with almost everything
One familiar aspect was her use of the over-sized sweater-hood combination that she featured in her winning Project Runway Season Finale show.
I must admit, i fell in love with her over-sized cozy knits, during the uber frigid temperatures we’ve been experiencing, i could surely wrap myself up in one of those
