Hanes Hosiery Celebrates 75th Anniversary of Nylon Stockings & New Silk Reflections Collections

To kick-off to Fall season, and to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Nylon Stockings, Hanes Hosiery held an event where they introduced the #Legsie, the hot new way to share your look on social media, along with their new Silk Reflections Legwear collection. The collection of soft, premium yarns featured dazzling sheers, playful new colors, styles, and textures, and perfectly blended sheerness and opacity to create luxe sheers. The collection offers a variety of sheer prints, lots of shimmer, sensual embellished backseams, and an ultra-chic square dot, giving a new twist to classic sheer hosiery, making it seasonless.

The elegant soiree, aptly titled #CheersForSheers, highlighted the new youthful look and attitude of Hanes Silk Reflections. The event was hosted by Style expert and creator of That Madonna Girl Accessories, Michelle Madonna; you may recognize her floral halos (or flower crowns) adorning the heads of the event’s attendees and several celebrities. The night’s music was provided by the very handsome Celebrity DJ, Brendan Fallis.

To highlight the the benefits of wearing sheer legwear, Celebrity stylist and Hanes Hosiery “Sheerleader”, Lindsay Albanese, curated a series of YouTube style segments, and Hanes Hosiery has partnered with Teen Vogue and their #FallFive Insta-listers to celebrate the #CheersForSheers campaign. “It’s time to celebrate the flawless finish that legwear can give women and encourage them to share their love for legwear on social media!” said Angela Hawkins of Hanesbrands Inc.
