As the world’s leading skiwear and mountain-based apparel brand, Spyder integrates high-tech fabrics, fashion and functionality. My favorite from their preview is the above featured flight suit-inspired Eternity Suit ($1,250.00) which combines extreme luxury with highly technical fabrication. The full stretch, waterproof and breathable one-piece belted suit has sexy linear curves and a split hood construction, adorned with supple coyote fur, to transform into a shoulder shawl to accommodate changing weather and style attitudes.
What’s old is new again at Obermeyer. The brand goes back to its archives and re-releases some of their classic 70s alpine sweaters like the above Eskimo Kisses Sweater, which is available in a variety of colors and features snowflakes across the chest and a traditional “SKI” prominent down the side of the arm.
One of my favorite brands from the preview was Descente because of their very innovative and fashionable outerwear. Their Chloe Jacket (above in olive) is a great fusion of the fashion and function you can expect from Descente. It features a motocross-inspired styling with stud detail and leather accents all wrapped up in a soft and luxurious fabric. It’s performance elements include Heat Navi heat-harnessing technology, 3D Motion pattern, and an abundance of comfort enhancing features.
Another favorite from the preview was Killy. Created by Olympic Gold Medalist Jean Claude Killy, the women’s collection is practically tailored to fit the curves of the female body. The above yellow Odyssée W Jacket is stylish and feminine, this ultralight and iridescent belted jacket features a double-collar, lots of style and a body flattering silhouette.
The Eider Nunavut Down Skirt doesn’t believe that minis should be relegated to summer or that you should freeze your bum off should shiver in a bum-chilling skirt in the winter. It’s not only cute, it features light and breathable fabric, is easily packable, water repellent, and is highly resistant to abrasions and tears.
