I forgot to mention this week is Shecky’s Girls Night Out. This is the 5-day event which is held in NY twice a year as opposed to the 2-day Beauty Night Out event, which is just once a year. Anyway, I am attending on the last day – Friday (hopefully I will be fully recovered from the horrible cold).
Anyway, today I was planning on attending an event at Lord & Taylor but at the last minute got an invitation to attend the Catherine Malandrino event, which trumps Lord & Taylor anyday.
This time one of the D’s attended with me and we met up with Kim. As soon as we walked in, champagne and honey they were not giving you a chance to actually finish a glass before it was refilled. Not wanting to be rude, I accepted all refills (LOL).There were some fab hors d’oeuvres to go along with the neverending champagne and of course shopping, certain items were 40% off and an additional 20% off but as I’ve stated before in many other posts, I have a big trip coming up, so no shopping.
I was told no photos (They had they own photog but I did manage to get these first:
You know I had to take some photos of the beautiful shoes. There were more, like this gorgeous Hunter Green boots, but as I said they said no photos. Below are some of Catherine Malandrino’s dresses and a huge felt bag that goes for $395 (I believe)
There was also a dominoes set made with Swarovski Crystals (well the numbers were Swarovski Crystals) but it can be yours for ony $300+. Maybe someday
