This was a day like any other as in there were multiple events happening. We started off at the opening reception for the Phillips de Pury Gallery, located at 450West 15th. The event we were attending was located on the 3rd floor of the building, we arrived to a very nice crowd
We grabbed a drink at the bar and proceeded to walk around to take a closer look at the artwork
In my humble abode, my walls are adorned with paintings which primary feature is movement, dancing to be exact so when I saw these two, I had to take a photo of them. They seem so alive to me
Now this event wasnt just an exihibit, there were also some items up for auction
We didn’t bid on anything and we didn’t stay too long, there was a lot of postering, so we went to the other event but when we arrived back on the first floor, we noticed another art exhibit/auction going on, so we went in the Milk Gallery
There were some very interesting artwork in there too and the crowd was a bit more relaxed
and besides getting some fabulous hors d’oeuvres (the first one didn’t have any), we also saw some very intriguing artwork as well
Anyway, on to the next event
