Whitney Port’s Spring 2011 Collection for her Whitney Eve line was a completely wearable collection. Every garment looked easy, chic and classic. This collection was a welcomed surprise – though I liked her last collection, I wasn’t sure if she’d be able to match or surpass the success of last season. I’m happy to say she has surpassed it.
According to the collection information, Whitney “fused the contrasting spirits of the coasts (NY and LA) to create a fresh colelction. Using pop colors, a mixture of textures and clean cuts, Port serves up a modern twist to looking effortlessly chic.”
and as you can see, the peach, lavender, electric violet, etc are so LA while the soft but edgy silhouettes scream NY. There are many designers that I don’t see their style or rather themselves in their collections but I can definitely say that I can see Whitney Port wearing every piece of the Whitney Eve collection.
